Join our individual lessons and totally cool rock band workshops for all ages and learn how to play with your
own rock band, write an original song and perform in a live rock concert using state of-the-art equipment in front of an audience of screaming, moshing fans.
Whether you already sing, play guitar, bass, keyboards, ukulele or drums - or you are an absolute beginner - the Laurel Canyon Rock School will help you advance your musical skills, giving you the basics of chord structures, rhythm, songwriting, improvisation, soloing and jamming.
Express your creativity through music, lyric and songwriting while finding your own style and gaining confidence in performing. Learn team work, build self esteem and experience the thrill and excitement of playing in a rock band!

Hi Clare! Can't thank you enough for helping with Cori. She went in so confident in what she had prepared and it was all because of you. Saturday is the FINAL audition- they have said she is up for the role of Katie the bass player. She's going to a vocal coach here in NYC to polish up today. You will be one of the first to know when we hear anything. Thanks again and we owe you big time!.....Felt like we were cheating on you but as soon as she was done, he wanted to know who her vocal coach was in LA! Thanks and fingers crossed....She did it! Just got an offer to join the ensemble for School of Rock the Musical on Broadway! Will also understudy the Bass player character Katie! Thanks again for all of your help. Love the DVD it totally Rocks!! Those kids are great, i can't believe how cool they are and so talented. You can tell how much they are loving that they are playing those instruments! Bill Sam saw the kids play as a band this last week and that’s what got him so excited about it. In the interim, my two have started fighting over who gets to practice the piano!! thats a real change :) Beth I love that idea, it sounds great. Having the Laurel Canyon Rock School kids perform at this charity event, it will give the other children something to think about and they will feel inspired to pursue their dreams. I just love it...and know that everyone will just fall in love with them. Irma I am happy with the way everything is done, I've been having a really great time doing your Rock School, it's been so much fun for me! Anna Danny has so enjoyed your Rock School, and he will definitely be game for the next session! Miriam We wanted to tell you once again what a GREAT time Alec had working with you, Thanks ever so much! Diane Congrats on the show. And on starting such a great program. Clearly it is a hit! Then yesterday after seeing all the young performers onstage at the Radio Disney Awards, she came home and wrote a song.
