About Clare Diane
PERFORMER / VOCAL & INSTRUMENT COACH
Clare is a performer, vocal and instrument coach. She has many years experience as a singer/songwriter, composer, musician, voice teacher, performance and career coach and 'rock band' coach.
An energetic and passionate performer, Clare plays her own original music and appears with FEM ZEPPELIN - an all female Led Zeppelin Tribute Band. Her original song "Perhaps We Were Cats" is on the multi-award winning motion picture soundtrack “GALA AND GODFREY," which recently won Best Independent Film at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. Her original song "Runaway With Me" is on the motion picture soundtrack “SPIN, SHOOT & RUN" and her compositions are featured in multiple films for Lockheed Martin. She and her debut album "RUNAWAY" were on the 46th Annual Grammy nominating ballot in three categories - Best New Artist, Best Album and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Child on a Ferris Wheel Ride."
Clare has rocked the house on dozens of stages at festivals, casinos, clubs, private and corporate events across the West Coast in California, Arizona, Utah and Idaho, in Jamaica, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and in Europe. Clare has opened for the Beach Boys, performed at the House of Blues, played for Arrow 93FM Radio, CBS and Paramount Studios. In addition to her original music performances, she has a ready songlist of over 300 top 40 hits from the 50s to today in a wide range of musical styles. She has recorded demos for producers and for Paramount Studios in pop, rock, dance and r&b styles.
Clare founded and is at the helm of the LAUREL CANYON ROCK SCHOOL, "Where Musical Dreams Come True" (established in 2004). There she teaches voice, performance, songwriting, guitar, piano/keyboards, bass, ukulele, drums and rock band workshops to hobbyists and professional children and adults. Clare was also recently the Musical Director for 5th grade productions of Annie, The Lion King and Willy Wonka.

I was able to attend my second scat lab this week and could not believe the progress AND that the folks in the group thought I was a professional singer. I cannot describe how great that felt to hear that and I actually believed them!
I most certainly could never have gotten this far and found the confidence and courage without your steadfast support, wisdom and kind honesty through the process. I am so thrilled that our paths have crossed and I have in you not only a dear friend but also a trusted advisor and teacher in my life. Many many thanks.

Hi Clare! Can't thank you enough for helping with Cori. She went in so confident in what she had prepared and it was all because of you. Saturday is the FINAL audition- they have said she is up for the role of Katie the bass player. She's going to a vocal coach here in NYC to polish up today. You will be one of the first to know when we hear anything. Thanks again and we owe you big time!.....Felt like we were cheating on you but as soon as she was done, he wanted to know who her vocal coach was in LA! Thanks and fingers crossed....She did it! Just got an offer to join the ensemble for School of Rock the Musical on Broadway! Will also understudy the Bass player character Katie! Thanks again for all of your help.
